About RepSensei
Free workout log with 871 exercise guides and a camera that counts your reps and flags what it can see. No account, and video stays on your device.
Key facts
| What it is | A free workout app: a workout log, 871 exercise guides with 3D demonstrations, and a phone camera that counts reps and flags what it can see. |
|---|---|
| Price | Free. No account, no card and no paid plan today. |
| Where it runs | In a phone or computer browser at https://repsensei.com/app/, and as an Android app on Google Play. There is no iPhone app yet, and the browser version has not been tested on iPhone. |
| Camera and privacy | Body tracking runs on the device. Video is not recorded or uploaded. |
| Workout data | Saved on the device, with a backup file you can save and restore. Workouts can be imported from Strong and Hevy. |
| What the camera can check | It counts reps or times holds in any of the 871 exercises and flags big swings. Squats, push-ups, lunges, biceps curls and planks have a more detailed form check. It sees one angle only, so no issue seen does not mean perfect form. |
| Not medical advice | The site and app give general fitness guidance. Stop if anything hurts and see a professional for pain or injury. |
| Free tools | One-rep max, barbell plate and warm-up set calculators that run in the browser. |

What RepSensei is good for
Logging gym and home workouts quickly, learning how an exercise is done, and getting a rep count and a second pair of eyes from your phone camera when training alone.
What it is not
It is not a coach, a physiotherapist or a medical device. The camera sees one angle and can miss things, so use it as a reminder, not a verdict.
